So there is a big problem going on "behind the stage" – you will see that if you read the mentioned posts. Or you know it from your own experience if you are a senior citizen or have one to take care of.
This video has three series (we are publishing all of them on the blog) and they take some time to watch. But it shows the really alternative way to health care for the elderly people.

Usually when talking about elderly health care benefits we get close to the Social Security and Medicare. The systems of benefits starts at 65 years and continues on, being paid out in years.
Beyond any doubt senior citizens make up the majority of the people that get Social Security. "Neighbor" programs – Medicaid and Medicare – provide affordable health programs. The aim of the programs is to help senior citizens with necessary care that they need. So, the participation in these programs makes an elderly person less likely to not be able to afford the necessary medicine.
Everything is that nice and shiny with the programs? No!
No matter how hard it sounds but sometimes the choice is about whether to eat or get medications.
An important thing to consider when you are thinking about elderly health care program is to make sure that you get medical care with reduced rates and a reduced rate pharmacy. This is a real help to the elderly people, because together with the payments it allows them to lower expenses on the things that they need.
